Art Classes

Do you offer art classes for children and adults?
We offer classes for children and adults. Each class description identifies the minimum age for the class.  We believe in multigenerational learning, so many of our classes will appeal to adults and older children.  Class sizes are limited depending on the class project.  Your space is confirmed upon paid registration. There are no make-up dates or studio credits for missed classes for any reason including illness and vacation. Make-up dates are offered if the Studio needs to cancel a class or if the Studio closes for family emergency or illness.

How do I learn about upcoming classes?

We post all of our classes on our website and on Facebook. The best way to learn about upcoming classes is to sign up for our email newsletter and follow Artworks Studio on Facebook.

Can I suggest a class or workshop topic?

Absolutely. We love offering classes that you suggest. If you see something on Pinterest or YouTube that you are interested in, let us know and we will see if we can offer it at a reasonable price.

Can I schedule a child's birthday party art class?

Yes. You can schedule a child's birthday party at Artworks Studio Making Space. Children’s Birthday Parties for children ages 7 and older can be scheduled at Artworks Studio.  Birthday parties are $20 per child with a minimum of 5 or more children.  There must be an adult present at all times during the party.  No food/drink or gifts allowed in the Making Space. Please make arrangements beforehand with your guests for handling gifts.  Some Birthday Party Projects are Make and Take others require a separate pick up date.

Do you offer multi-generational classes?

Yes. We offer one session classes for family members or friends to attend together, such as Parent/Child, Grandparent/Child, Special Person/Child, where you will work on a project together or separately.

Do you post photos from classes on your website or social media?

Yes. I take photos of classes for publicity purposes. If you do not want your image in a photo, please let me know.

Terra Bella Jewelry

Who makes your jewelry?

The Terra Bella Jewelry line is designed and handmade in our studio by Laura Comito. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.

What type of materials do you use?
Unless otherwise noted, we use natural materials from the earth including semi-precious stones, driftwood, sea glass, sea shells, etc. We also incorporate found objects into our jewelry. Our metals are sterling silver, rose gold filled, or gold plated, unless otherwise noted.

Do the pieces have special meaning?
Yes! We feel the end-wearer will be drawn to the special piece that is meant for them. A list of wood and stone meanings can be downloaded.

Is the piece I am buying unique?

Yes! We do not mass produce our wearable art. While you may see a similar design repeated, the materials used in each piece is unique with its own characteristics. We carefully hand drill all the wood ourselves.

How do I care for my Terra Bella jewelry?
Many of our pieces are delicate and should NOT be worn while sleeping, in the shower, or during activities like exercising or gardening. To prevent tangling, pieces should be hung by a hook or laid flat with the chain long.

Do you do custom work?
Yes, we love to work with our customers directly! We would be happy to work with you on a custom design. We'll even transform a special piece of driftwood you already own. Custom orders are subject to an additional charge. Please contact us here.

Yes, we do have unisex pieces and are always happy to take custom requests. Please contact us here or email us at

Do you accept international orders?
No, we do not accept international orders.

What is your return policy?
We gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations. Contact me within 7 days of delivery for returns. Items must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery in a similar box or packaging to protect the piece in the mail. We request that the returned item is in new condition. You may exchange your returned item for another item that costs the same or less than the returned item, which will be shipped to you at no cost. In the alternative, you will be issued a store credit that may be used for the purchase of items in the future. You may request a cancellation of your order for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase.
